The 2024 Chevy Colorado has two exciting engine options to choose from, which include the 2.7L turbo inline four-cylinder (I4) and the 2.7L TurboMax™ I4 engine. The 2.7L turbo I4 engine is ready to provide quick turbo power with 237 horsepower, 260 pound-feet of torque, and up to 24 highway MPG. If you’re looking for extra power, the 2.7L TurboMax I4 engine is capable of handling more demanding excursions with 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque while still maintaining up to 24 highway MPG.
Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and can come with two-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) depending on your chosen trim. When it comes to towing, the 2.7L turbo I4 can tow up to 3,500 pounds, while the 2.7L TurboMax I4 more than doubles it with up to 7,700 pounds of towing.
