Whether you value efficiency, horsepower, or towing capacity, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer and 2020 Blazer have an engine option that’s right for you. Both models are available with all-wheel drive (AWD) or front-wheel drive (FWD). The 1.2L turbo Trailblazer engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the 1.3L turbo Trailblazer engine and all three Blazer engines come with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the 2020 Blazer is rated for up to 4,500 pounds of maximum towing capacity when properly equipped, while the 2021 Trailblazer can be equipped to tow up to 1,000 pounds.

Interior

Versatile comfort comes standard in both the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer and 2020 Blazer. The Trailblazer offers up to 54.4 cubic feet of cargo space when you fold down the rear seats, while the Blazer offers up to 64.2 cubic feet of cargo space. Both SUVs offer seating for five passengers, rear legroom of just over 39 inches, and front legroom of approximately 41 inches.

Both cabins also offer a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front bucket seats, and foldable rear seats. At the top of their respective trim levels, the Trailblazer seating material is cloth with leatherette, while the Blazer offers perforated leather seats with sueded microfiber accents. The Trailblazer driver’s seat is ten-way power adjustable, while the driver’s seat in the Blazer offers eight directions of power adjustment, plus a six-way power front passenger’s seat.

The Blazer also offers a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and heated rear outboard seats for optimal comfort at any time of the year.
